The Kansas City Chiefs have one player who did not practice on Wednesday as the team prepares for their Divisional playoff matchup against the Buffalo Bills this Sunday. The team releases an injury report three times throughout the week before playing on the weekend.

Head Coach Andy Reid revealed who would participate in Wednesday’s practice during his weekly media availability. Only Derrick Nnadi and Cam Jones were absent. The team also welcomed back wide receiver Skyy Moore from injured reserve.

“As far as injuries go, Cam Jones will not practice today, (Derrick) Nnadi won’t practice today. Everybody else will be out there. Skyy (Moore) will return to practice, (Kadarius) Toney will be out there, and (Justyn) Ross will be out there,” said Reid.

Jones was not listed on the Chiefs’ Wednesday injury report despite not participating – suggesting the backup linebacker’s absence could be non-injury related.

Wide receiver Kadarius Toney missed the last four weeks due to hip and ankle issues. Reid wasn’t ready to determine his playing status for Sunday. Instead, he reiterated to reporters that the 24-year-old is still day-to-day.

“We’ll see, we’ll just see – with (Justyn) Ross (too), I’m just taking it day by day, see what they can do, and we’ll go from there. I’m hoping they’re feeling better, that’s the main thing.”

Toney was the reason for Kansas City’s Week 13 loss to the Buffalo Bills during the regular season, lining up offsides before scoring a late go-ahead touchdown. If he can suit up on Sunday, he’ll have an opportunity to make up for his costly mistake by making a play to help his team move onto the AFC Championship.
