Kansas City Chiefs 2025 opponents revealed

The Kansas City Chiefs still have plenty of football ahead as the playoffs get set to kick off, but that does not mean we can’t look ahead to next fall.

Week 18 is officially in the books, which means all 32 teams know who’ll be on their respective 2025 NFL schedules. That includes the Kansas City Chiefs, who wrapped up their 2024 regular season by falling to the Denver Broncos, 38-0, for a 15-2 finish.

Going into 2025, the AFC West will play the AFC South, NFC East, and even-strength matchups against an opponent from the AFC North, NFC North, and AFC East.

Kansas City finished atop their division, meaning they will have another first-place schedule. The Chiefs will play the following opponents next season. Dates and times will be determined when the schedule officially comes out following the NFL Draft.

Home: Raiders, Broncos, Chargers, Texans, Colts, Eagles, Commanders, Ravens, and Lions

Away: Raiders, Broncos, Chargers, Jaguars, Titans, Cowboys, Giants, Bills

Once again, Kansas City will have to face a gaunlet in 2025 with ten games against opponents that are in this year’s playoff bracket (Chargers and Broncos twice). Seven of ten machups will be played at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. The Indianapolis Colts and Las Vegas Raiders are the only opponents the Chiefs face at home that didn’t make the postseason.

The Chiefs will have a lighter road schedule, division games aside, with trips to Jacksonville, Tennessee, Dallas, and New York. The lone road battle that will be the toughest will be going to Buffalo to face the Bills in front of Bills Mafia.

Kansas City is still awaiting to see who they’ll face in the divisional round of the AFC playoffs. If all goes accordingly, the Chiefs could be taking on their 2025 schedule as the NFL’s first defending three-peat champions.
